A Note from the CEO-Rob Staley

As we end the second semester of the school year, we are excited to share with you the tremendous success we’ve had thus far. This season of the year is our busiest, as Crossing campuses statewide hold annual fundraising banquets, and we are deep in our year-end development season. The Crossing is a private, nonprofit high school, relying on three sources of revenue: partnerships with public schools, private school vouchers, and donations through the Scholarship Granting Organization link (50% state tax credit). We are currently serving 836 students statewide, and we anticipate around 75 mid-year graduates throughout the state. Recently, we conducted a student satisfaction survey and out of the 836 students, we received 655 responses, a response rate of 78%. We’re thrilled to share that our student satisfaction has increased 12%. We strive to serve our students in three ways: academics, job-training and faith-based character education. On behalf of everyone at the Crossing, I want to thank you for sharing in this mission of empowering struggling students to become contributing members of your communities through academics, career pathways, and faith-based character education. We wish you all a Merry Christmas as we celebrate the birth of our Savior who has made the Crossing a viable option for struggling students in our communities. Rob Staley, Chief Executive Officer]]>
