I started tutoring in Math at the Crossing during the second nine-week session of Fall 2012. When I began, I was pleasantly surprised at what I found! Instead of finding a group of young people with attitudes of rebellion and disrespect, I found a group of young people who appeared to be grateful for the program and who were interested in trying to make it work. Since I began, these kids have treated me with respect and friendship. It has been a joy helping them discover how to make the most of the time they have at the Crossing. I would strongly recommend volunteering in any capacity with these kids. You will be the one to be blessed the most!
