SB Flag football team

During the first week of Fall Break the Crossing  7-Man Flag Football Team played in the Football for Famine Flag Football Tournament at River Oaks Missionary Church.  Highlights from the day included Kevin Troupe catching a dozen passes, Lorenzo Crawford snapping every down and laying out for a over the middle diving catch; scat-back Quintynn Nealy rushing for 100+ yards; Bryon Johnson keeping to his word and catching everything thrown his way, not to mention scoring the 3 touchdowns and a handful of extra point attempts. Jahmall “Go Long” Baldwin out ran the competition and set up many first and goal opportunities by going up for many 40+ yard receptions. Christian Troupe anchored the defense with over the top coverage and aggressive pressure on the quarterbacks, all the while the team’s strong-arm QB and leading rusher Dominique Sanders, scored at will and found the end-zone easily by the selfless blocks of his teammates.  This team of athletes plans on returning to the grid-iron in the spring for more flag football action.
