19 Feb Looking to Lebanon
As an alternative school, most of the Crossing’s strength lies in the intangibles. We create an environment built on relationships with students, an environment where students who struggle in a traditional setting know and feel that they can succeed. We meet our goals of empowering these students in the small daily moments where trust is built and confidence is nurtured and lives are changed.
But what does it take to get to that place? We can’t get to the intangibles without the tangibles being put into place first. The Crossing’s newest opportunity to reach students is in Lebanon, Indiana. We have already reached agreement with the Western Boone Community School Corporation – now what is needed is a location for the campus. Western Boone already sends several students to the Crossing, but they are currently being bused to the Noblesville location.
