WSBT-TV Report Story Published: May 31, 2009 Not everyone takes a traditional path through school. Some have a few speed bumps along the way, and can get off track — but one local group helps get them back on the right road. It’s called The Crossing Educational Center, and with six locations in the region, they make it their mission to help students who struggle to make it through a traditional school. The ministry-cased programs also help students with character development through the teachings of the Bible. Saturday, about 40 students received their diplomas from the school. But this ceremony wasn’t only about looking forward. Many students also taped or presented their personal stories about their journeys to The Crossing. The Crossing’s first class started in Goshen in 2003 with eight students and two teachers. Since then they’ve doubled enrollment every year. Article taken from WSBT News Click Here]]>
